The brown membrane lid for soup cups is made from the natural raw material paper with a PE coating, thus representing a more environmentally friendly alternative to disposable plastic plates.

The brown lid, with a diameter of 115 mm, is suitable for contact with food, even fatty foods.

This product bears the FSC® seal and therefore complies with the strict guidelines of the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®).

Purchasing wood and paper products with the FSC® label supports responsible forest management and promotes high environmental and social standards in forest management worldwide. Depending on the type of FSC® label, it is clear whether the product is made from FSC®-certified virgin fibers, consists exclusively of FSC®-certified recycled material, or is a mixture of FSC®-certified materials and controlled sources.

This product is certified according to DIN 13432 and is therefore considered "biodegradable." According to DIN 13432, the raw material for the product decomposes into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass by more than 90% after a specified period of time under defined temperature, oxygen, and humidity conditions in the presence of microorganisms or fungi. A composting period of 10 weeks is used for testing biodegradability.*
