Lerapur® SEM is a cleaner for the recirculating and rinsing cleaning of equipment, apparatus, and systems in all areas of food processing, as well as for similar industrial applications.

Properties: Formulated with alkaline and low-foaming properties, Lerapur SEM, with its exceptional grease-dissolving power, effectively cleans machinery in food processing, including cream dispensers, ice cream machines, and coffee machines. The blend of cleaning boosters, surfactants, and quaternary ammonium compounds in Lerapur SEM removes and emulsifies grease and protein deposits, as well as coffee oil residues, and keeps the dissolved residues permanently in solution. Sufficient dosage—especially for heavily soiled surfaces (e.g., protein deposits)—and a cleaning temperature of at least 40 °C (104 °F) ensures effective cleaning performance.
