The dark green napkin was made from tissue material, an absorbent, finely creped sanitary paper made from cellulose.

The single, 3-ply napkin measuring 40 x 40 cm is 1/4 folded and generous in format and voicing.

The timeless napkin is time-saving and convenient thanks to its pre-folded shape - the perfect setting when several serving processes have to be carried out in a short time. The product is suitable for a casual breakfast, lunch and snack breaks.

This product is certified according to DIN 13432 and is therefore considered “biodegradable”. According to DIN 13432, the starting material for the product decomposes to water, carbon dioxide and biomass by more than 90% after a set time under defined temperature, oxygen and humidity conditions in the presence of microorganisms or fungi. A composting time of 10 weeks is used to test biodegradability*.
This product has been awarded the “NordicSwan Ecolabel” certificate. The Nordic Ecolabel corresponds to Type I according to DIN EN ISO 14024: 2018-06: Environmental labels and declarations - Environmental labeling Type I - Principles and procedures. The criteria are reviewed every three to five years and revised if necessary. The impact of a product on the environment is assessed over its entire life cycle, from raw materials to recycling. The evaluation criteria include, among other factors, low CO2 emissions. Assessment criteria: strict environmental requirements in all relevant phases of a product life cycle, strict requirements and limits for chemicals used in products, the products must consist of at least 90 percent renewable raw materials, they must be recyclable or compostable, testing of energy consumption and emissions the production*
