The white "Duni" placemats are made from organic Dunicel, a fabric-like material made without fossil fuels, which is almost indistinguishable from fabric in terms of appearance and feel.

Heavy metals and fluorine content are well below the maximum levels required by the following standards. Composting the product results in compost that is safe for growing plants. No ecotoxicity was found in a test according to EN 13432.*
