The white plate was made from the natural raw material bagasse (sugar cane fibres) without any additives or coatings.

The undivided plate has the dimensions 20 x 15.1 cm.

This product is certified according to DIN 13432 and is therefore considered "biodegradable". According to DIN 13432, more than 90% of the starting material for the product breaks down into water, carbon dioxide and biomass after a specified period of time under defined temperature, oxygen and humidity conditions in the presence of microorganisms or fungi. A composting time of 10 weeks is taken as a basis for testing the biodegradability*.
