Description
The transparent lid for the menu tray was made from environmentally friendly PLA (polylactic acid, also known as polylactic acid).
The lid with rounded corners measures 229 x 153 mm.
The lid, which is heat-resistant up to 40°C and suitable for freezing down to -18°C, is suitable for contact with all types of food.
This product is certified according to DIN 13432 and is therefore considered to be "biodegradable". According to DIN 13432, the raw material for the product breaks down to more than 90% to water, carbon dioxide and biomass after a specified time under defined temperature, oxygen and humidity conditions in the presence of microorganisms or fungi. A composting time of 10 weeks is used as a basis for testing biodegradability *.
