      This natural-colored plate is made from palm leaf, a renewable resource, making it a more eco-friendly alternative to disposable plastic tableware.

      Palm leaf plates are made from untreated, naturally shed palm leaves. The natural material gives the products their distinctive, unique appearance, each item is a one-of-a-kind natural piece. Palm leaf products are manufactured without additives or coatings, as the material is naturally resistant to grease and moisture. They are also extremely sturdy and suitable for both cold and hot foods.

      This product is certified according to DIN 13432 and is therefore classified as "biodegradable." Under the DIN 13432 standard, the base material breaks down, within a specified timeframe and under defined conditions of temperature, oxygen, and moisture, into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass (with a degradation rate of over 90%) through the action of microorganisms or fungi. A composting period of 10 weeks is used as the basis for testing biodegradability*.
