The white menu box was made from the environmentally friendly material bagasse (sugar cane fibres).

The undivided menu box measuring 220 x 185 x 70 mm has a capacity of 900 ml.

The boxes are water and grease resistant and can be used for food from - 25 °C to 220 °C. Thanks to the naturally robust properties, an additional coating is not necessary.

This product is certified according to DIN 13432 and is therefore considered "biodegradable". According to DIN 13432, more than 90% of the starting material for the product breaks down into water, carbon dioxide and biomass after a specified time under defined temperature, oxygen and humidity conditions in the presence of microorganisms or fungi. A composting time of 10 weeks is taken as a basis for testing the biodegradability*.
