The brown take-away box was made from environmentally friendly cardboard, which was coated with a water-based dispersion varnish.
The lacquer protects the box from moisture, liquid and grease. The coating is flour-free and fully recyclable*.

The individual box measuring 215 x 155 x 65 mm has a capacity of 1,500 ml.

Thanks to the water-based coating, the food-safe boxes are ideal for packaging and transporting cold, hot and slightly fatty foods such as nuggets or chips.

This product is certified according to DIN 13432 and is therefore considered "biodegradable". According to DIN 13432, more than 90% of the starting material for the product breaks down into water, carbon dioxide and biomass after a specified period of time under defined temperature, oxygen and humidity conditions in the presence of microorganisms or fungi. A composting time of 10 weeks is taken as a basis for testing the biodegradability*.
